Corporate History
　　In order to cope with fierce competition in the digital camera industry, Flextronics and Asia Optical started discussion about potential collaboration at the end of 2008 sharing the same prospect about the industry. After series of detailed discussions, both parties agreed that integration of Flextronics excellent design capabilities and Asia Optical’s expertise in optical design and mass production capabilities would surely create a comprehensive and leading ODM company in the digital camera industry.
　　After agreement by the board of directors of both parties, AOF was formed on July 1, 2009 where Asia Optical Company holds 80.1% share and Flextronics holds the remaining 19.9% share.
　　Our highly integrated design & development team was soon recognized by several major digital camera brands. A renowned & respected US customer awarded numerous ODM models in 2009. New businesses with valued Japanese customers are also expected in the coming year. With a solid product design & development capabilities and a proven track record for the first year, AOF is expecting to expand its presence in the industry in the years to come.

Incorporation of AOF
　　AOF is headquartered in Hong Kong. Mr. I Jen Lai, chairman of Asia Optical group, assumed the additional responsibility as chairman of AOF. Scope of AOF business is dedicated to development, design, manufacturing and services of digital cameras, digital video cameras and their related products.

　AOF Japan：
　　AOF Japan is located in Shin Yokohama city near Tokyo and Okaya city in Nagano
　prefecture. AOF Japan employs about 140 people; most are R&D engineers. AOF Japan
　designs & develops digital cameras, digital video cameras and related products. It also serves
　as strategic procurement center for key parts for AOF group companies.
　AOF Taiwan：
　　AOF Taiwan is formed as an integration of Worldview Technology and Asia Opticals digital
　camera R&D division. AOF Taiwan employs about 140 people; most are R&D engineers. AOF
　Taiwan designs & develops digital cameras, digital video cameras and related products. It also
　serves as strategic procurement partner for key components from Taiwanese suppliers.
　AOF China：
　　AOF China was formed from the Imaging division of Sintai Optical.AOF China employs about
　2,000 people. There are 150 in R&D, 250 in engineering, quality assurance and administration.
　There are 1,600 factory operators. AOF China manufactures digital cameras, digital video
　cameras and related products of an exacting quality. AOF China also operates as field service
　center for customers.
